One of the best parts about living in London, Ontario is the fact that there's always something cool going on. While there are some great, year-round, weekly activities like the Western Fair Farmer's Market, the summer months are when the city really comes alive.
You can tell there are a lot of music fans in London, judging by how many awesome outdoor music events take place. Here are some of the top festivals for Summer 2015:
The term "rock and roll" can apply to a wide range of music and this festival, located at a beautiful setting along the Thames River, will please those hard rock, soft rock, country and alternative fans.
July 14-18, 2015, Harris Park
This festival has been a London favourite since it started running in 1974. Featuring grassroots and famous Canadian acts alike, people come out for the music and stay for the food, art and crafts.
July 17-19, 2015, Victoria Park
If you like to get your groove on (and sport your tie-dye), this is the music festival for you. People really let loose and dance the night away to the rhythmic percussion and cross-cultural sounds.
July 9-12, 2015, Victoria Park
Music not really your thing? There are plenty of events to suit a wide range of tastes, like the Fringe Fest, which will be descending upon the Old East Village June 2-13. It's easy to just kick back and hang out on your own patio all summer, but why not get out, meet your neighbours, take in the action and enjoy all the entertainment this city has to offer. Who knows? You may even run into your Rock Star Realtor while you're at it ;)
