Mel's Insights:

When I was a kid, whenever my family would come into London, we’d always end up in Argyle. My mother getting her hair done at Argyle Mall, and us kids hanging out with our city friends in the neighbourhood. The Mall has long since been the hub of the community. Every year Argyle hosts it's own Christmas Parade, Canada Day Fireworks and one of the only places to get a preview of the Air Show when held at the London Airport. It is most famous for being the childhood home of my Goodlife Trainer, Lisa Zelinski (tyrant).

Presently the community waits for a 21 million dollar East Lion Community’s development to open in 2019. This facility will boast 2 indoor pools, community kitchen, gym and multipurpose activity space. It is a much needed facility in our community and has been a longtime in the works.

Homes range from apartment, townhouse condo, freehold row units, single family starter to large family homes with attached garages. With patches of forests, parks and walkways throughout. Because of this, don't be surprise if you spot a variety of wildlife including the occasional deer traveling through the forest along Veteran Memorial Parkway. This community has everything you need: aside from the continued expanding shopping district, the London airport nearby, Argyle Arena, East Park just to it’s south side and a mix of public and religious schools. The proximity to Veterans Memorial Parkway allows easy passage from north to south and out onto the 400 highways. It takes me 20 minutes to be in west London. This is a community that is continuing to grow, planning is also underway for a new neighbourhood development on the London Psychiatric hospital Lands. The diversity of this neighbourhood makes it one of the friendliest, down-to-earth communities I can think of, and is the reason why many Londoners including myself love to live here.
