Mel's Insights:

The Old Victoria area is less a neighbourhood than it is a throughway, providing a convenient route to and from the east and south ends of the city. It is home to Dr. Oetker Pizza Factory (yum!), Hanwha L&C Canada, Canchilla Associates and The Original Cakerie. As well as Western University's WindEEE Research Institute, Fraunhofer Project Centre and the Canadian Centre for Product Validation (interesting, right?).
