Supporting the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation
As a proud REALTOR® in London, Ont., I believe that every individual deserves a safe and supportive environment. That's why my commitment goes beyond real estate. I’m deeply dedicated to making a difference through the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and domestic violence prevention programs.
Over the past 25 years, the Shelter Foundation has raised over $41 million to support more than 200 local shelters across the country, offering critical resources and hope to women and children facing abuse. My own journey with this cause has been as challenging as it has been rewarding.
Taking Action: My Personal Commitment
Some of us do more than just donate to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, some of us get dirty!
In 2019, I joined 120 other agents from across the country to trek 100 km across the Sahara Desert. In 2022, 13 brave agents, including myself, took on an unforgettable challenge—riding motorcycles through the Himalayan mountains of northern India. We navigated some of the most extreme roads in the world, including the highest passable road on the planet. Then, in 2024, 27 of us endured the intense heat of Colombia’s jungles and deserts.
None of these journeys come without risk or challenge, but I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had these opportunities. Even more so because they’ve allowed me to raise approximately $35,000 for local women’s shelters and domestic violence prevention.
